Dr. Dan Ang began his dental education in Canada, receiving his DDS from the University of Alberta in 1987 and then completing a General Practice Residency at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, MO. After obtaining a Periodontics Certificate with honors in 2007 from the University of Missouri, he then completed a Master of Science in Oral Biology there in 2008. In addition to Dr. Ang's 15 years of general dentistry experience, he has been placing and restoring implants since 1988. From 1991-1992, he trained with Dr. Hilt Tatum and Dr. Bob Summers to understand sinus augmentation procedures, which were in their infancy at the time. Over the course of his career, Dr. Ang has published three articles on topics such as phosphor imaging plates, metastatic lesions and carotid atherosclerosis. His most recent research focuses on the modulation of alveolar crestal bone and the soft tissue profile of immediately loaded implants placed in maxillary esthetic zone extraction sites. Dr. Ang also furthers his education through his professional involvement in various Canadian and American dental organizations.
